Contest Rules

The Giveaway is organised by:

DUXCHA BV, trading as YŌKO Café, Vorstermanstraat 4A, 2000 Antwerp, Belgium. Enterprise/VAT number: BE 1033.736.819. Email: info@yokocafe.be.

Hereinafter referred to as “YŌKO” or the “Organiser”.

The Giveaway starts on 19 August 2026 at 19:00 (CEST) and closes on 30 August 2026 at 23:59 (CEST). Entries received after the closing time will not be considered.

The Giveaway is open to natural persons who:

• are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry;
• have their residence in Belgium; and
• comply with all requirements set out in these Contest Rules.

Employees of DUXCHA BV and YŌKO Café are permitted to participate, provided that they meet the same participation requirements as any other participant and have no influence over the random selection of the winner.

Only one entry per person is permitted.

To submit a valid entry, a participant must, before the end of the Giveaway Period:

1. Like the official YŌKO Café Giveaway post on Instagram;
2. Follow @yoko.cafe.be on Instagram; and
3. Complete and submit the Giveaway entry form available through YŌKO’s website.

All three steps must be completed for an entry to be valid. No purchase or payment is required to enter the Giveaway. Incomplete, fraudulent, automated or otherwise invalid entries may be excluded.

One winner will receive a YŌKO Unlimited Drinks Membership for 12 months, with a communicated retail value of €1,500.

The membership entitles the winner to:

• a maximum of one free drink per calendar day;
• for a period of 12 consecutive months;
• from the regular drinks menu available at YŌKO Café.

The prize may only be redeemed at YŌKO Café, Vorstermanstraat 4A, 2000 Antwerp, Belgium.

Add-ons, extras, supplements or other modifications carrying an additional charge are not included in the prize and must be paid for separately by the winner.

The 12-month membership period begins when the winner accepts the prize. The membership is strictly personal and non-transferable. It may only be used by the winner.

The prize cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash, transferred to another person or replaced by another prize or alternative at the winner’s request.

The winner will be selected at random on 31 August 2026 at 12:00 (CEST) from the valid entries received during the Giveaway Period.

Each valid entry will be assigned an equal chance of winning. The random selection will be performed using a random number generator.

After an entry has been selected, YŌKO reserves the right to verify that the selected participant has complied with all participation requirements, including that the participant liked the official Giveaway post and follows @yoko.cafe.be on Instagram.

YŌKO may request reasonable information from the selected participant to verify compliance with these requirements. If the selected participant cannot demonstrate compliance with the participation requirements, their entry will be considered invalid and YŌKO may conduct a new random draw.

The selected participant will initially be contacted using the email address provided in the Giveaway entry form. The selected participant must respond within 48 hours of YŌKO’s first notification.

If the selected participant does not respond within 48 hours, cannot be contacted using the details provided, does not meet the eligibility or participation requirements, or otherwise fails to comply with these Contest Rules, YŌKO may declare the selection invalid and randomly select another participant.

Once the winner has been verified and has accepted the prize, YŌKO may publicly announce the winner through its own communication channels, including Instagram, using the winner’s first name and/or Instagram handle.

YŌKO processes personal data submitted through the Giveaway form for the purpose of administering the Giveaway, validating entries, selecting and contacting the winner, awarding the prize, preventing fraud and handling questions or disputes relating to the Giveaway.

The Giveaway form may collect information including name, email address, telephone number, town or city, and favourite type of drink.

Personal data collected specifically for administering the Giveaway will normally be retained for up to three months after the end of the Giveaway, unless a longer retention period is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim or to comply with a legal obligation.

Optional marketing

Participants may separately choose to receive news and marketing communications relating to YŌKO Café and YŌKO Unlimited. Providing marketing consent is entirely optional and is not a condition of entering or winning the Giveaway.

Where a participant has separately opted in to marketing communications, their contact details may continue to be processed for that purpose after the Giveaway data would otherwise have been deleted. Participants can withdraw their marketing consent at any time.

YŌKO reserves the right to exclude or disqualify a participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe that the participant has:

• submitted more than one entry;
• used false, misleading or incomplete information;
• attempted to manipulate or interfere with the Giveaway or winner selection;
• used automated systems, fake accounts or other fraudulent methods;
• failed to comply with these Contest Rules; or
• otherwise acted in a manner that undermines the fair operation of the Giveaway.

Any decision to disqualify a participant will be made on reasonable grounds.

YŌKO may modify, suspend, postpone or cancel the Giveaway where this is reasonably necessary due to circumstances that prevent or materially interfere with the proper, fair or secure operation of the Giveaway.

Such circumstances may include technical failures, fraud, platform outages, legal or regulatory requirements, or other circumstances beyond YŌKO’s reasonable control.

YŌKO will endeavour to minimise unreasonable disadvantage to participants and, where appropriate, communicate material changes through its own channels.

Nothing in these Contest Rules excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, YŌKO cannot be held responsible for circumstances outside its reasonable control, including technical failures, internet or platform outages, incorrectly submitted contact details or entries that are lost or not received due to technical issues.

Participants remain responsible for providing accurate information and for ensuring that they can be contacted using the details submitted.

This Giveaway is organised independently by DUXCHA BV / YŌKO Café. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook or Meta.

By participating, entrants acknowledge that Instagram, Facebook and Meta are not responsible for the administration of the Giveaway or the awarding of the prize. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Giveaway must be directed to YŌKO Café and not to Instagram, Facebook or Meta.

The Giveaway and these Contest Rules are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute relating to the Giveaway will be handled by the competent courts in accordance with applicable Belgian law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights or jurisdiction rules that may apply.
